3D Printing project: design, iterate, and print a calibration cat

This lesson introduces the core principles of 3D modelling in TinkerCAD and prepares students to 3D print a calibration model (“Cali Cat”). We apply a divide‑and‑conquer approach to break complex forms into simple shapes, then use grouping, alignment, and workplane tools to refine the design and get it ready for printing. Students submit designs, compare outcomes, and reflect on accuracy and creativity.
